We need your help! 30 Odd Minutes is growing, and we need your help to
get even more great content. How's about adding Oddball Newscaster to your... ahem...
distinguished resume?
Here's what we're looking for: Are you attending a paranormal conference, going
on an investigation, or simply legend tripping through some quirky place in your
own town? If so, grab your video camera and give us a field report.
Guidelines:
Keep it under a minute in length. Be interesting. Be funny! Have fun with the
project. Interview someone about their oversized collection of lawn gnomes, tell
us a local legend of some haunted bridge nearby, show us where aliens were
said to have landed, or tell us about some interesting paranormal evidence you
captured. Think like a reporter: who, what, where, when, why.
Don't:
Trespass to get the story, or lie to anyone you're interviewing about what this
is for. We're not here to dupe anybody, just get the odd story and have
fun.
Compensation:
For each segment we use we'll pay you 10-times what our host makes for each
episode (which is nuthin'), so be in it for the credit, for the glory, and for
the love of doing this.
Example:
Here's an example of a field report done by our own Andrew Lake:
